Level 1: A collaborator who is unaware of the situation and lacks the necessary skills.

● "THE 39 STEPS" (June 6, 1935): Frederick Piper, a milkman. The innkeeper and his wife.
● "Young and Innocent" (November 1937): Basil Radford, Nova Pilbeam's uncle. He helps the protagonist escape in a blindfolded game.
● "The Lady Vanishes" (1938): A British adulterous couple.
● "Saboteur" (1942): Murray Alper, a truck driver.
★ "Involved" heroine → No skills to solve the spy case. ①-③ become aware of the situation midway through the film and transform into "Level 3".
① "THE 39 STEPS": Madeline Carroll, a newspaper reporter. Only has the skill to escape handcuffs.
② "Young and Innocent": Nova Pilbeam, the police chief's daughter, not only fails to utilize her police officer father's skills but also goes on the run with a suspect, nearly forcing her father to resign. Her uncle, Basil Radford, helps the protagonist escape the party by playing tag.
③ "Saboteur": Priscilla Lane, a highway billboard model. Murray Alper, a truck driver.
● "The Lady Vanishes" (1938): Musician Michael Redgrave
● "Foreign Correspondent" (1940): Political activist Laraine Day (a private political activist who proudly proclaims herself an "amateur," and is not in a position to use her power to resolve the Albert Basserman kidnapping case). They also transform into "3" midway through the film.
● "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1956): Friends who barge into his apartment
● "North by Northwest" (1959): Cary Grant's mother, Jesse Lois Landis (who doesn't believe what's going on)

Level 2: A collaborator with skills but unaware of the circumstances

● "Rear Window" (1954) - Detective Wendell Corley (doesn't believe in the case itself)

Level 3: A collaborator who knows the circumstances but lacks skills

● "THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH" (1934) - Best friend Hugh Wakefield
